Projects

Ever since its inception in 1989, the Trust has been instrumental in supporting monumental projects that have helped shape lives and communities. All the projects are aimed at serving humanity without any discrimination on caste, creed or religion. Schools, hostels, colleges, hospitals, medical equipment, old age homes have been grateful recipients of SUMAN & RAMESH TULSIANI's generous grants over the years.

Snehbandhan Charitable Trust Old Age Home (Kansal, Pali)

Late Shri Bapu Pandit spent all his savings and bought a piece of land at Kansal near Pali, to set up a home for old people to help them lead a dignified way of life in Society. While the home was being built he had to take loans from people to provide facilities to 60 people. Though he could generate the funds from friends and well wishers, he was in no position to repay them. When the matter came to the notice of Shri Suresh Kuvelkar – one of the trustees of the Suman Ramesh Tulsiani Charitable Trust – he took the initiative and got Rs.25 lacs sanctioned for the Snehbandhan Trust and helped repay the loan. Apart from this the Suman Ramesh Tulsiani Charitable Trust also donated Rs.10 lacs for other services and facilities to the residents of this old age home.

The Goa Hindu Association’s Snehmandir (Bandode, Goa)

A cottage known as SumanKutir was built from a donation of Rs.15 lacs by the Trust to accommodate eight people. In addition, a home for the elderly handicapped named as `Centre for Love & Care's was constructed out of a donation of Rs.35 lacs from the Trust. Both of these landmark homes are situated in the Snehmandir Compound at Bandode, Goa.

Kailash Satyarthi

SUMAN AND RAMESH TULSIANI recently presented a cheque of Rs.5 lacs to Nobel Peace Laureate Kailash Satyarthi – founder of Beti Bachao Andolan – in recognition of his path-breaking efforts against child labour, slavery and trafficking.

The elite gathering of erudite professionals and celebrities was organized by Dr. Ramakant Panda, founder of the Asian Heart Institute.

NO PLASTIC Campaign

SUMAN RAMESH TULSIANI CHARITABLE TRUST's No Plastic Campaign has been steadily gaining momentum and is being cheered by all sections of Society. The medium-sized high quality cloth bags have become a rage with young and old alike, for their utilitarian aspect, with more and more requests pouring in with every passing day.

Recently, the students of Rochiran T. Thadani School for Hearing Handicapped were delighted on being presented with these bags and have come out whole heartedly in support of this Campaign.
