Ever since its inception in 1989, the Trust has been instrumental in supporting monumental projects that have helped shape lives and communities. All the projects are aimed at serving humanity without any discrimination on caste, creed or religion. Schools, hostels, colleges, hospitals, medical equipment, old age homes have been grateful recipients of SUMAN & RAMESH TULSIANI's generous grants over the years.

Scholarships for Students of Vivekanand Education Society

SUMAN RAMESH TULSIANI CHARITABLE TRUST recently awarded Rs.12 lakhs in Scholarships to 136 students of Vivekanand Education Society's colleges of Degree, IT & Engineering, Pharmacy and Architecture.

A special grant of Rs. 2 lakhs was made to the Rochiram T. Thadani School for the Hearing Handicapped and Rs.1 lakh was awarded to 20 aspiring Teachers at the Hashu Advani College for Special Education.

Girl’s Building, Sadhu Vaswani Education Centre (Pune)

One of the most reputed educational institution in Pune, the Sadhu Vaswani Education centre has four big buildings that provide international level facilities for girl students at Nigdi, Pune. The Girl's Building at the Centre has been funded by the Trust and built at a cost of Rs.8 crores.

Suman Ramesh Tulsiani Engineering College (Kamshet, Lonavala)

A brainchild of one of the trustees - Shri Suresh Kuvelkar – the Suman Ramesh Tulsiani College of Engineering is a premier educational institution in the Kamshet region and is a boon to the budding youths of the surrounding areas aspiring for a good quality education. Started in 2015-16 the College has an average of about 700 students on its rolls. An international primary and secondary school has also begun operations on the sprawling 25-acre property and on the anvil are plans for a degree college for Arts, Commerce and Science. Built at a cost of about Rs.100 crores, it is entirely funded by the Trust.

Suman Ramesh Tulsiani Convention Centre, Sophia College (Mumbai)

Smt. Suman Ramesh Tulsiani graduated in Arts from Sophia College with French as her main subject and stood first from the Mumbai University in her B.A. exam. Sophia College being close to her heart, she understood the requirements of deserving students aspiring to opt for higher studies. Since then numerous students have been provided scholarships for higher studies in India and abroad. The Trust has also donated Rs.80 lacs for a spacious auditorium known as the Suman Ramesh Tulsiani Convention Centre for the students of Sophia College.

Keshavsrushti (Bhayander, Mumbai)

An important educational institution, initiated by and named after
Dr. Keshav Baliram Hedgewar, the founder of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, situated at Bhayander in Mumbai. This institution provides a disciplinary environment to its students to become dedicated and sincere citizens of India. The Trust donated Rs.15 lacs to build Ram Ratan Vidyamandir Vasatigruha (Hostel) to provide modern facilities to the students.

MCA Department, Vivekanand Education Society (Chembur, Mumbai)

An iconic educational institution at Chembur, Mumbai, the Trust donated Rs.1.30 crore to help build the new MCA Department in the VES IT College.

Netrajyoti – Mobile Eye Clinic

SUMAN & RAMESH TULSIANI inaugurated Netrajyoti – Mobile Eye Clinic on the auspicious day of Durga Ashtami in the Chaitra Navratra of 2019. The Rs.50 Lakhs project constitutes a customized state-of-the-art Mobile Van fitted with all the latest ophthalmic equipment needed to detect several eye and vision impairments and 50 eye camps for children, to be conducted in the rural villages of Thane and Palghar district. Free spectacles will also be provided by the TRUST to children with minor and corrective visual impairments.

Funded by the SUMAN RAMESH TULSIANI CHARITABLE TRUST, the project will be managed and conducted by the BHAKTIVEDANTA HOSPITAL & RESEARCH INSTITUTE, Mira Road (E) under the watchful eyes of a select team of Ophthalmologists and support staff.

CLINICAL RESEARCH, ACTREC, TATA Memorial Centre

The fight against Cancer has been a focal point for the SUMAN RAMESH TULSIANI CHARITABLE TRUST in recent years. Recently the TRUST has joined hands with the TATA Memorial Centre, ACTREC at Kharghar.

A sum of Rs.19 Lakhs was donated to ACTREC for Clinical Research, which is one of the premier medical institutions in the field of Cancer Treatment across the country today. The MoA was signed by RAMESH TULSIANI and Dr. Sudeep Gupta, Director, ACTREC at the TATA Memorial Centre.

Dialysis Centre, Dr. Hedgewar Hospital (Aurangabad)

Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Vaidyakiya Pratishthan is an organization run by Professionals and Doctors, who have come together to give maximum of themselves to the Society. Since 1989 this organisation has treated 60,00,000 poor patients.Dr. Hedgewar Hospital is the nucleus of this trust. It is providing Excellent Medical Services at affordable cost to the common man. The Trust has donated Rs.50 lacs for a Dialysis Centre at this hospital in Aurangabad.

Shushrusha’s Suman Ramesh Tulsiani Hospital (Vikhroli, Mumbai)

Shushrusha Citizens Co-op. Society Ltd. Runs a hospital in Dadar on a co-operative basis and has setup a second hospital in the eastern suburb of Mumbai. The Rs.60 crores project has seen the day of the light thanks to the Trust's donation of Rs.25 crores. The fully operational 140-bedded hospital is a state-of-the-art facility providing a wide range of healthcare services.

Specialty Laboratory, Nana PalkarSmritiSamiti (Parel, Mumbai)

Nana PalkarSmritiSamiti was founded in memory of late Shri Nana Palkar, who was an active RSS member and strived to work hard for the poor and needy patients who could not afford expensive medical treatment in Mumbai. The Samiti provides free lodging/boarding for the patients and their accompanying family member with subsidized food and free ambulance service during their stay. The Trust has donated Rs.40 lacs to set up a Specialty Laboratory, which conducts most modern blood tests including detection of HIV and other critical diseases.

Shanti Avedna (Bandra, Mumbai)

Aimed at helping terminally ill cancer patients, Shanti Avedna is founded by Catholic Missionaries with branches at Bandra in Mumbai and Lotolim in Goa. Facing impending death, these patients survive on pain killers and the aim is to provide them with as much comfort as possible in their last days. The Trust has donated Rs.50 lacs for a complete floor in Mumbai and a special ward at Goa for this great cause.

Children Heart Department at Asian Heart Institute (BKC, Mumbai)

One of the most prestigious cardiac hospitals in the country founded by noted Cardiac Specialist Dr. Ramakant Panda, the Trust has donated Rs.25 lacs for the Children Heart Department at the Asian Heart Institute.

TATA Memorial Centre-Diwali Celebrations

As we bask in the light and warmth of love, kindness, compassion and hope this Diwali, the SUMAN RAMESH TULSIANI CHARITABLE TRUST rekindled the lamp of hope and faith at the TATA Memorial Hospital, by presenting Diwali Gift Hampers worth Rs.3.5 lacs to all the 700 patients currently fighting for their lives.

The warm glow and happiness on the face of each and every patient was an overwhelming sight as Mr. Manish Rupani presented the Hampers on behalf of MRS. SUMAN RAMESH TULSIANI, at a function organised by the V Care Trust and graced by Mr. Vicki Kaushal and Mr. Shivaji Satam among others.

Sur Chander Ja, Raat Chander Ji

The New Year 2019 kicked off with a bang on the Sindhi cultural scene with SUMAN & RAMESH TULSIANI presenting `Sur Chander Ja, Raat Chander Ji. to a packed audience at the St. Andrews Auditorium.

The programme marked the 112th Birth Anniversary of Sangeet Acharya Master Chander and showcased timeless melodies of Master Chander, which were performed by Saral Roshan, Mohit Lalwani, Roshni Tekwani, Renu Tekwani and Nisha Chelani. The draw of the show was Mahesh Chanders act, who enthralled the audience with his unique style of rendering the classics. The show ended with a Bhagat performance by Sanju Bhagat, who had the audience on their feet.

VANPRASTHA ASHRAM ISKCON, Kharghar

The SuperMoon of Holi ushered in an auspicious beginning as SUMAN & RAMESH TULSIANI inaugurated the Vanprastha Ashram at ISKCON Kharghar on March 22, 2019. Thanks to the grant of Rs.55 lakhs from the SUMAN RAMESH TULSIANI CHARITABLE TRUST, the Vanprastha Ashram occupies an entire floor in the complex and houses 14 self contained rooms and three dormitories, which can accommodate about 40 people.

The Inauguration was well attended by all the senior Gurus and Devotees from ISKCON and close family members of SUMAN & RAMESH TULSIANI.

Junior Sindhi Idol 2018

SUMAN RAMESH TULSIANI CHARITABLE TRUST has been selectively promoting cultural activities over the years and has been in the forefront in keeping the spirit of Sindhiyat alive by supporting right causes.

Last weekend the Trust sponsored the Cash Prizes of Rs.90,000/- for the Grand Finale of Junior Sindhi Idol 2018, held at the Bal Gandharva Rangmandir Auditorium in Bandra. SUMAN & RAMESH TULSIANI graced the function as Chief Guests and showered their blessings on all the contestants, who sang a variety of Sindhi folk and traditional songs spread over three rounds leading to a scintillating finale won by Abhay Ahuja followed by Yana Teckchandaney and Harshita Khemani.

Snehbandhan Charitable Trust Old Age Home (Kansal, Pali)

Late Shri Bapu Pandit spent all his savings and bought a piece of land at Kansal near Pali, to set up a home for old people to help them lead a dignified way of life in Society. While the home was being built he had to take loans from people to provide facilities to 60 people. Though he could generate the funds from friends and well wishers, he was in no position to repay them. When the matter came to the notice of Shri Suresh Kuvelkar – one of the trustees of the Suman Ramesh Tulsiani Charitable Trust – he took the initiative and got Rs.25 lacs sanctioned for the Snehbandhan Trust and helped repay the loan. Apart from this the Suman Ramesh Tulsiani Charitable Trust also donated Rs.10 lacs for other services and facilities to the residents of this old age home.

The Goa Hindu Association’s Snehmandir (Bandode, Goa)

A cottage known as SumanKutir was built from a donation of Rs.15 lacs by the Trust to accommodate eight people. In addition, a home for the elderly handicapped named as `Centre for Love & Care's was constructed out of a donation of Rs.35 lacs from the Trust. Both of these landmark homes are situated in the Snehmandir Compound at Bandode, Goa.

Kailash Satyarthi

SUMAN AND RAMESH TULSIANI recently presented a cheque of Rs.5 lacs to Nobel Peace Laureate Kailash Satyarthi – founder of Beti Bachao Andolan – in recognition of his path-breaking efforts against child labour, slavery and trafficking.

The elite gathering of erudite professionals and celebrities was organized by Dr. Ramakant Panda, founder of the Asian Heart Institute.

NO PLASTIC Campaign

SUMAN RAMESH TULSIANI CHARITABLE TRUST's No Plastic Campaign has been steadily gaining momentum and is being cheered by all sections of Society. The medium-sized high quality cloth bags have become a rage with young and old alike, for their utilitarian aspect, with more and more requests pouring in with every passing day.

Recently, the students of Rochiran T. Thadani School for Hearing Handicapped were delighted on being presented with these bags and have come out whole heartedly in support of this Campaign.
